Fed up of striving, self-sabotage, low confidence, and battling your emotions?

Introducing group-based Compassionate Mind Training (CMT) for English speakers. CMT is an 8-session programme designed for the general population as a framework for nurturing effective responses to stress and self-criticism in particular.

Compassionate Mind Training

Why Compassionate Mind Training?

What's Involved & What You Get

During the training we will meet as a group of up to 10 people face-to-face or online for 8 sessions of two and a half hours each.

Together we will explore and discuss key concepts with a lot of emphasis on cultivating compassion through practice during sessions to support the application of key skills between meetings. In addition to copies of written course material, you will have access to audiovisual material including recordings of guided practices, and you will be directed to other high quality resources to support your continued compassion practice. One of your most valuable resources will be the group itself - opportunities to reflect, experience compassion from one another and remain grounded in the reality of what it means to be human.

The core components of Compassionate Mind Training are:

1. Why we need compassion - our tricky brains

2. Our emotion systems

3. Developing our compassionate self

4. Compassion flowing out

5. Opening to the compassion of others

6. Self compassion

7. Working with self-criticism

8. Working with the many parts of us

In addition to the 20 hours of course contact time, you will also have the option of a pre- and post- course consultation online with me, Dr. Sarah Wolfe, as well as access to an exclusive participant's discount on future one-to-one and group-based courses.
